About the Role
Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Vitamin Clerk to help people discover the benefits of supplements and vitamins, educate them on a healthier lifestyle, and provide an extraordinary customer service experience in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction by giving prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service in the Vitamin Department.
- Provide a high level of prompt and friendly customer service.
- Create and maintain department displays.
- Accurately price all merchandise by stamping, marking, or placing shelf tags and signs.
- Answer questions and educate customers about supplements and vitamins within proper parameters.
- Be familiar with current and upcoming events and seminars.
- Share knowledge of weekly ad items.
- Provide customers with directions to product locations throughout the store.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be dependable and reliable.
- Have the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the entire workday.
- Ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., from 4” to 72”, for a distance up to 3 feet for between 10-50 hours without mechanical assistance.
- Able to maneuver a utility cart holding 20 lbs. requiring a force up to 35 lbs., up to 2 hours, a distance up to 20 feet.
- Able to walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift.
- Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Team Members under 18 will be restricted from using a knife (other than safety cutters), using a ladder, operating garbage or cardboard compactors, or operating any motor/electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks), and working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods.
