About the Role
The Learning Experience is hiring an experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to create a fun, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. You'll have the support of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, classroom resources, and a collaborative center team, giving you more time to focus on teaching and building meaningful relationships with children and families.
Responsibilities
- Lead a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate preschool classroom
- Bring TLE's L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to life through hands-on lessons and activities
- Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
- Create a positive classroom environment where every child feels welcomed and supported
- Observe children's development and communicate progress with families
- Maintain classroom routines, learning materials, and required documentation
- Partner with fellow teachers and center leadership to create an exceptional family experience
- Follow New York childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
Requirements
- Must meet applicable New York State requirements for a preschool group teacher
- Previous experience in a preschool, childcare, daycare, or early childhood classroom
- Must meet applicable background screening, health, and training requirements
- Active supervision of young children and the ability to participate in classroom and outdoor activities, including standing, bending, sitting on the floor, and lifting up to 40 pounds
