About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Immediate Media Trade Marketing Team to work on major retail/trade marketing campaigns throughout the year. You will provide vital admin support, understand market conditions, analyze sales and retail trends, and assist with the planning and implementation of retail promotions. You will liaise with publishing teams and external companies, support Newstrade Marketing Managers in proposing sales driving ideas, and manage information to help shape and deliver the retail strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting weekly sales on a wide range of magazine titles.
  • Liaising with Publishing and Frontline teams to provide information to external and internal personnel.
  • Assisting the team with business planning and budgeting.
  • Creating weekly sales reports.
  • Ensuring centralised databases are up to date.
  • Analysing market and retail data to provide support to the Trade Marketing team in decision-making process.
  • Planning and implementing retail promotional bookings.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to manage data effectively.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills, able to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and resourceful, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
