About the Role
The Capital Allocation team, part of Fund Management at Arrow, focuses on making optimal capital allocation decisions for investors. This role involves working across capital formation, client relations, investment decisions, portfolio management, valuation, and performance monitoring. You will translate strategy into numbers and data into insights for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis over a range of projects to support fund management decisions across Arrow’s third-party-managed funds.
- Develop models and analytical methods to effectively analyse performance and profitability of the various investment strategies conducted within the Group.
- Monitor the performance of the fund(s) under management, investigate trends and identify areas requiring further analysis.
- Analyse returns, both actual and projected, to support the decision-making process across new investments.
- Contribute to analysis of existing positions, including stress-testing & sensitivity analysis for existing assets under management.
- Respond to specific queries/answering questions, explaining outputs to internal stakeholders.
- Lead in the future development of the modelling architecture, including assessment & implementation of business intelligence tools and artificial intelligence applications.
Requirements
- Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Business, Economics, Accounting, STEM, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge in Financial Modelling with a sound understanding of accounting and finance concepts.
- Proven relevant work experience, including experience in a financial consulting firm and/or multinational organizations.
- Strong MS Office Excel skills are mandatory.
- A high degree of attention to detail with the ability to consolidate and interpret complex information from multiple sources.
- A self-motivated individual capable of using own initiative to drive improvements in business processes.
