About the Role
This role offers an opportunity to become an integral part of a growing business within a competitive market. You will cultivate relationships with new restaurant partners, enhance our customer offering, and identify avenues for continued rapid growth. Responsibilities
- Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants within your assigned region in a highly organized manner, demonstrating expertise in local market trends and customer preferences.
- Communicate with restaurants through various channels (in-person visits, email, calls, social media) to showcase Deliveroo's technology.
- Manage the restaurant onboarding process to ensure it is swift, efficient, and seamless.
- Support restaurant success during their initial eight weeks post-signing.
- Sample food from a diverse range of high-quality establishments.
- Attend restaurant and food industry meetups.
Requirements
- Comfortable with new business targeting and possess sales experience.
- Experienced negotiator capable of structuring mutually beneficial deals for both restaurants and Deliveroo.
- Commercially astute with a strong understanding of the food delivery market economics for restaurants and Deliveroo.
- Ability to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.
- Demonstrate ownership and ability to work towards demanding targets.
- Possess an interest in food and restaurants.
- Be tenacious and motivated.
- 1+ years of Sales experience.
- A valid driving license and car are preferred.
- Willingness to travel to various areas around Greater London.
- Comfortable working outside of a traditional office environment and being mobile.
