About the Role
Support the reliability and performance of automotive products by reviewing simulation results, triaging failures, and connecting testing outcomes back to system and safety requirements. Analyze simulations and test data, make pass/fail determinations, investigate failures, and identify high-level root causes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce issues and ensure findings are routed for resolution.
Responsibilities
- Review simulation and test results, applying defined criteria to make pass/fail determinations and evaluate expected system behavior.
- Triage failures, investigate system behavior, and identify high-level root causes based on test data and systems and safety requirements.
- Reproduce drive-data failures in simulation when possible and route findings to the appropriate functional owners and development teams.
- Partner closely with software development, testing, and systems teams to establish rapid, iterative feedback loops and drive issues toward resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Robotics highly preferred; or at least four years of equivalent knowledge
- Work experience 2+ years of professional experience working on safety critical and complex systems such as Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, Automotive, or Aerospace Technologies
- Experience with software engineering concepts, including requirements analysis, source control, build processes, design reviews
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages (E.g: Bash/Shell, Python)
- Experience using issue tracking and configuration management tools (E.g: Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Git)
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical and creative problem solving skills
