About the Role
Game Guides are hospitality experts who anticipate guest needs, serve them enthusiastically, and ensure their day is memorable. They lead guests through immersive escape room adventures, setting the tone with upbeat introductions and connecting with guests of all ages. Game Guides monitor gameplay, reset components efficiently, and ensure every guest has a five-star experience.
Responsibilities
- Embody the company's mission, vision, and values during every shift.
- Lead groups of 2-12 in fun, friendly conversation.
- Collect information and make meaningful connections with guests.
- Enthusiastically explain games and products.
- Use Game Guide software to monitor games and assist guests.
- Use HMI (Human-Machine Interface) to operate games.
- Provide a recap of the experience in the outro.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining game components, accurately resetting games using setup sheets, cleaning games and facility, managing time effectively, restocking inventory, and completing necessary reports.
- Immediately and graciously resolve service failures.
- Ensure each guest has a five-star experience and leaves happy.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to handle physical activity including deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
- Ability to use small tools and strong magnets when resetting games.
- Quickly reset numerous locks, drawers, shelves, and game components within specific time frames outlined in training.
- Excellent communication skills when speaking with guests.
- Align with company's Uniform Standards.
