About the Role
First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to join their growing team. This role involves performing service activities on coffee brewing equipment, instructing customers, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate is energized by a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering great service.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
- Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment, respond to inquiries, and communicate customer issues to appropriate staff.
- Complete all service calls and related paperwork accurately and timely.
- Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and conduct monthly inventory checks.
- Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer sites.
- Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory.
- Ensure assigned service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance, obey traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Assume route driver duties during absences of regular branch delivery drivers and perform other deliveries as needed.
- Maintain and clean the service area.
- Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Past Experience is a plus
- Valid Drivers License
