About the Role
McCormick Canada is a respected leader in the spice, seasoning, flavouring, and specialty food industry, seeking a Mixer/Assembler to join their Operations team. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and accuracy of ingredient mixing and blending.
Responsibilities
- Assemble ingredients following formulas and recipes
- Ensure quality and accurate mixing and blending of ingredients
- Transfer materials from original containers into custom order sizes up to 50lbs
- Record all necessary and requested information accurately
- Maintain high sanitation standards
- Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures
Requirements
- OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
- Ability to safely perform physical work, including, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to work in a dusty and wet environment
- Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete paperwork in a fast-paced environment
