About the Role

Rippling's Engineering Intern program aims to foster growth, ownership, and fun for early talent. Interns will join teams in Summer 2027 to develop products, implement features, and solve complex problems, gaining experience comparable to full-time engineers. The program focuses on impactful projects scoped for internship timelines and provides mentorship, training, and social events. The goal is to identify emerging engineers for potential full-time roles post-graduation. This is a full stack software internship role, involving both front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities

Utilize software engineering experience to tackle projects, solve problems, and develop quality code.
Think critically and apply knowledge to real-world, complex problems.
Actively participate in team meetings to scope, drive, and progress projects.
Learn about the business, client needs, and the impact of projects.
Attend Meet & Greets with executives and teams to gain a holistic view of company operations.
Foster relationships with the intern cohort and teams through social and company events.

Requirements

Previous internship/Co-op experience in software engineering, specifically in the backend with Python and the frontend using JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field with a graduation date after the internship completion.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Solid frontend programming skills with an emphasis on backend experience and knowledge.
Ability to adapt and ask action-oriented questions.
Passion and drive to constantly learn and develop engineering skills.
