About the Role
Rippling is offering a Data Science Internship for Summer 2026 (May-August). Interns will work with seasoned data scientists and analysts to boost the impact of Rippling's product, sales, marketing, risk, and financial investments. The internship provides experience in building ML models and deploying end-to-end production pipelines, with assigned projects scoped for impactful completion within the internship timeframe. The program includes mentorship, training, and social events.
Responsibilities
- Use machine learning and other data mining techniques to analyze customer data and uncover customer-level insights that help drive GTM decisions and improve Product.
- Design, build, and deploy models to forecast multiple components of customer revenue and behavior, creating a valuable outlook for future revenue and customer success.
- Deploy end-to-end ML pipelines to deliver prediction and insights at scale.
- Actively participate in team meetings to scope, drive, and progress projects.
- Present work to the R&D senior team.
- Attend Meet & Greets with various executives and teams to gain a holistic view of company operations.
Requirements
- Previous internship/co-op experience in data science.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science or a related field with at least 1 semester/quarter after internship completion.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Solid programming skills with an emphasis on SQL and Python.
- Ability to adapt to both industrial- and startup-grade code and systems.
- Passion and drive to constantly learn and develop engineering skills.
