About the Role
This role involves conducting research in Multimodal aerial/underwater robotics within a world-class air-water experimental environment, focusing on challenging weather and environmental conditions. The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigator in research experiments, data analysis, manuscript writing, and lab maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research experiments in the field of Multimodal aerial/underwater robotics within the predetermined research scope and methodology.
- Collect and analyze data, including periodical/literature search and utilizing specialized skills in related fields to analyze the collected data.
- Participate/assist in manuscript writing for publication in scientific journals and/or presentations.
- Assist in grant writing and report writing.
- Lab maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering of supplies as needed.
- Attend Scientific Conferences and Meetings.
Requirements
- Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a closely related field completed by the start date.
- Strong publication record in mobile robotics.
- Demonstrated hardware-validated experiments in sensing and control systems.
