About the Role
Knowledge Road seeks NYS-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide school-based speech therapy services on a 1099 basis in Manhattan. Services are provided to students attending independent, parochial, and charter schools, as well as some homeschooled students, under a New York City DOE contract.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver speech-language therapy aligned to each student's IEP or IESP goals
- Keep session notes and complete required documentation
- Complete progress reports as required
- Communicate with the school, the family and the student's team
- Attend IEP meetings for the students you work with
Requirements
- NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Availability to work in Manhattan
- Cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education within the past year (or obtain special approval)
