About the Role
Knowledge Road seeks NYS-certified Special Education Teachers to provide SETSS services on a 1099 basis in Brooklyn. This role offers flexible scheduling with no minimum caseload and the ability to choose cases that fit your availability and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver one-to-one or small-group SETSS instruction aligned to each student's IEP or IESP goals
- Keep session notes and complete required documentation
- Complete progress reports as required
- Communicate with the school, the family and the student's team
- Attend IESP meetings for the students you work with
Requirements
- NYS certification in Students with Disabilities (B-2, 1-6, 7-12 or All Grades)
- Availability to work in Brooklyn
- Cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education within the past year (or require special approval)

- $70/hour for 2 students

About the Company
- Knowledge Road holds a New York City DOE contract to provide IEP- and IESP-mandated services to students attending independent, parochial, and charter schools, as well as some homeschooled students in Brooklyn.
