About the Role
Knowledge Road is seeking NYS-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide school-based speech therapy services on a 1099 basis in Bronx. This role offers flexibility with no minimum caseload or exclusivity requirements, allowing therapists to control their work hours. Services are provided to students in independent, parochial, and charter schools, as well as some homeschooled students, under a New York City DOE contract.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver speech-language therapy aligned to each student's IEP or IESP goals
- Keep session notes and complete required documentation
- Complete progress reports as required
- Communicate with the school, the family and the student's team
- Attend IEP meetings for the students you work with
Requirements
- NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Availability to work in Bronx
- Cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education within the past year (or have special approval)
