About the Role
Knowledge Road is seeking licensed clinicians to provide school counseling services on a 1099 basis in Brooklyn. We have a contract with the NYC DOE to offer IEP- and IESP-mandated services to students in independent, parochial, and charter schools, as well as some homeschooled students.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one counseling aligned to each student's IEP or IESP goals
- Keep session notes and complete required documentation
- Complete progress reports as required
- Communicate with the school, the family, and the student's team
- Attend IEP meetings for the students you work with
Requirements
- NYS license as an LCSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist
- Availability to work in Brooklyn
- Cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education within the past year (special approval may be required)
