About the Role

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for their Water Restoration department. This role involves pursuing sales opportunities and qualified leads, assessing properties for water damage, and providing solutions to residential and commercial clients. The position offers unlimited earning potential with an average of $48,000-$85,000 per year, plus mileage reimbursement, a weekly base pay, commission, flexible schedules, and top industry benefits. All leads are provided, eliminating the need for cold calls.

Responsibilities

Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to the residential and commercial market.
Perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels.
Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
Leverage pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes and close sales.
Act as a trusted information resource for customers.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable background check.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service focus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Knowledge of Water Restoration and practices is required.
Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
Working knowledge of common software programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
Previous experience with outside sales of in-home services is strongly desired; all outside sales experience will be considered.
Maintain IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification.
Medically cleared to wear a respirator and complete a respirator fit test.
