About the Role
This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts. It is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production and distribution location while carrying out site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, perimeter, and access points to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized personnel and visitor access, and report irregularities or concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
