About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries as an Armed Patrol Officer. Maintain a secure environment through routine patrols, a visible presence, and prompt response to security concerns. Engage professionally with employees, visitors, and the public while supporting a caring, reliable team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete required activity reports and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
