About the Role
Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced to provide a flexible and dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. This role offers consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, loading docks, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access-control procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
