About the Role
This role provides flexible, dependable hours for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with Allied Universal. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol, you will have a designated site and weekly shift with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare and rehabilitation setting.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, resident care areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with visitor directions and maintaining a professional presence.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and emergency responders as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
