About the Role

This role is responsible for delivering coordinated, personalized care to patients, going beyond traditional administrative functions to improve operational efficiency and support exceptional care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide concierge services for patients, including prescription assistance, interfacing with other offices and hospitals, appointment management, follow-ups, and facilitating patient needs.
  • Maintain respectful and responsive email and phone communication with prospective and current patients.
  • Greet and assist patients with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Schedule physician appointments and send corresponding reminders.
  • Coordinate and track outside consults, tests, and imaging studies for patients.
  • Obtain prior authorizations for prescriptions and diagnostic companies.
  • Upload labs and other outside documentation into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Answer and triage phone calls.
  • Undertake other assigned responsibilities and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in a science or medically-related field.
  • 1 year of experience required, healthcare experience preferred.
  • Advanced computer literacy, primarily with Apple computers.
  • Tech-savvy comfort working in a paperless environment (EHR enabled).
  • Proven track record of providing extraordinary customer service.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Autonomous, responsible, and proactive.
  • Exceptional professional poise and sophistication.
