About the Role
Young Giants is a specialist AP tuition service operating in term-time, dedicated to helping every child reach their full academic potential. You will deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition sessions to learners with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH, teaching Maths and Physics A-Level using creative, engaging approaches tailored to each learner's interests. You will build positive relationships and foster confidence in our learners.
Responsibilities
- Teach Maths and Physics A-Level.
- Use creative, engaging educational approaches tailored to each learner’s interests.
- Build positive relationships and foster confidence in our learners.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of experience teaching SEN learners
- Relevant and up-to-date curriculum and subject knowledge
- The ability to combine mentoring and academics, building trust and supporting each learner on their personal journey
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and a willingness to complete any mandatory training necessary in this area
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain)
- Ability to travel to learner locations
