About the Role

As a Customer Assistant in a John Lewis shop, you will ensure our difference is felt through outstanding customer service and by highlighting first-class in-store experiences. You will also maintain exceptional shop standards through displays, stock availability, and general cleanliness, aiming to build customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and inspirational customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
  • Using product knowledge and sales training to drive sales and increase profits.
  • Proactively acknowledging customers, understanding their needs, and resolving queries.
  • Working flexibly across the shop to support the wider team, including till support, stock replenishment, price ticketing, and general shop-keeping tasks.
  • Identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Supporting accurate stock counts to protect profits.
