Functions as a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience, building competency in direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Contributes to unit activities, supports the enhancement of the care delivery system, and assists peers in patient care services.

- Contributes to unit activities.
- Supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.
- Works FT positions.
- Works D/E/N shifts.
- Works 8/10/12 hour shifts.
- Works holidays, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
- Cares for pediatric patients across the age continuum.
- Works in specialties including general surgery, urology, dental, OMFS, neurosurgery, plastics, burns, ENT, and orthopaedics.
Requirements
- Requires a nursing degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
- Requires an active New York State RN license in good standing.
- New graduates welcomed.
