About the Role

Contribute immediately to Water and Wastewater (W/WW) project development and execution as part of a rapidly growing practice area within STV. Projects involve a wide range of types, sizes, and clients.

Responsibilities

Deliver large and/or multiple projects on time, within budget, and in conformance with contract requirements.
Provide effective project management to reduce delivery costs and add value using proven techniques.
Assist in the execution of existing projects and development of new work pursuits.
Act as a team lead for projects, serving as the liaison to internal departments.
Plan, organize, and direct design staff.
Execute project designs and oversee construction services.
Interface with clients to understand needs and ensure expectations are met.
Participate in corporate initiatives to meet company goals.
Assess project requirements and recommend sound approaches to meet client needs.
Ensure project deliverables satisfy requirements and schedule.
Determine, monitor, and review project costs, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
Enhance project quality by suggesting improvements to team roles and activities.
Establish, monitor, and report metrics for key project criteria.
Facilitate communication plans and conduct status review meetings.
Supervise the work of others.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Master’s degree is a plus.
Professional Engineer registration in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
Minimum of 8 years of experience.
Demonstrable experience in planning, design, and construction of W/WW facilities and/or infrastructure.
Experience in planning, design, and construction of potable water and wastewater treatment and conveyance design.
Experience working with local water clients, including municipalities, agencies, and investor-owned companies.
Experience delivering projects for larger water clients in the area is a plus.
Experience delivering designs in CAD and using 3-D modeling.
Ability to monitor, report, and manage project budgets and schedules.
Ability to utilize computer systems for effective project management.
Demonstrated leadership, oral and written communication, planning, teamwork, decision-making, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Experience presenting and leading/participating in project meetings.
Experience directing, coordinating, and supervising staff.
Knowledge of scheduling, spreadsheet, document, and database software (e.g., Contracts Manager (Expedition), P3E, Microsoft Office package).
Knowledge of and experience in reviewing and understanding a project’s Health and Safety Plan and QA/QC Plan.
Experience in reviewing and overseeing a Document Control Plan and developing/utilizing a Project Management and Procedures Manual.
