About the Role

The Associate Director, Process & Platform leads the development of pricing systems, models, and business processes to support Corporate Pension Solutions' growth strategy. This role combines actuarial, technology, and process expertise to enhance operational efficiency, improve platform capabilities, and deliver scalable solutions for new business pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Support for and ownership of tools, systems, and model infrastructure across pricing and associated workstreams, including liability cashflow engine, capital projection model, integrated data management, asset portfolio construction, and financial reporting reconciliation.
  • Support the design, build, and delivery of short, medium, and long-term strategy for responsible models in partnership with stakeholders across Life, Finance, and Technology teams.
  • Support tools and systems outsourcing arrangements as required.
  • Identify and deliver day-to-day process automation solutions across the CPS business.
  • Build a close partnership with the broader CPS Pricing team and the wider business to deliver process enhancement, build technical capability, and drive continuous improvement for areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable track record of development of DB pricing or Solvency II and related actuarial models, tools, and processes.
  • Qualified Actuary or actuarial skillset required.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one area of DB benefits, IFRS 17, and Solvency UK for life insurance (in particular balance sheet construction).
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritize workload to strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to bridge the gap between actuarial and IT.
