About the Role
The Customer Asset Management (CAM) Operations Development Program offers participants in-depth professional and analytical experience, alongside leadership and collaborative skill development through an immersive rotational program. Participants will gain technical proficiency in core CAM division business processes.
Responsibilities
- Complete job rotations in multiple disciplines to understand roles, their utilization at the Bank, and how they collaborate to deliver solutions and services.
- Manage loan pipelines, ensuring timely and accurate operational processes.
- Perform loan reviews to confirm quality aligns with the Company’s risk appetite.
- Work in customer contact or back-office roles based on candidate preference and skill set.
- Develop and produce routine departmental reports and spreadsheets, including project analyses, historical reporting, and financial analyses.
- Complete data review, research, and/or reconciliation.
- Participate in Customer Asset Management Operations Development Program activities.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls, identifying risk-related issues for escalation.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points and addressing regulatory issues.
- Complete other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Up to 1 year of work experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Prior work/internship experience
