About the Role
CVS Health Digital is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join a high-energy, growing team focused on building software components using a cutting-edge, cloud-native platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves designing and developing microservices for critical prescriber and patient domains, aiming to reinvent the pharmacy and healthcare company experience in the digital world.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable full-stack applications and microservices using modern software engineering best practices.
- Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs to enable secure, reliable, and efficient service communication.
- Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging services such as GKE, serverless computing, and managed databases.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Argo CD to support automated testing, deployment, and delivery.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, align on priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives and project timelines.
- Ensure application security, performance, reliability, and compliance through cloud engineering best practices, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with specific development experience in Back End technologies such as Java and Spring Boot.
- 2+ years working with APIs (GraphQL and REST) in microservices architectures.
- 2+ years of experience in Angular, JavaScript, NodeJs, RxJS.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP Preferred).
- 2+ years of experience with databases (Postgres or similar) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, or similar).
- 2+ years of Agentic AI / Generative AI experience.
