About the Role
Improve operational processes for Qonto’s German branch within the Central Europe AFC team. Focus on receiving, routing, tracking, and handling sensitive physical correspondence, including court documents, legal notices, seizures, and law-enforcement requests. Gain autonomy to connect teams across AFC, Banking Operations, Legal, and Product, and help build clearer, more reliable ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Map the current physical-mail workflow, understand document movement, and identify bottlenecks.
- Design and maintain clear routing rules, trackers, ownership models, and escalation paths.
- Coordinate with AFC, AML, Fraud, Banking Operations, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Organize the Product × AFC feature-approval process, coordinating input from MLROs across Europe.
- Experiment with AI to structure information, document workflows, prepare updates, and reduce repetitive coordination work.
Requirements
- Be an enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Demonstrate autonomy and accountability to tackle loosely defined problems.
- Be organized and rigorous in tracking stakeholders, deadlines, and dependencies.
- Learn quickly and be curious about financial crime, banking operations, legal processes, and fintech.
- Be comfortable working with Google Workspace; Notion familiarity is a plus.
- Possess professional English proficiency; German is a plus, Dutch is an additional bonus.
- Be curious about AI and willing to experiment with it for process improvement while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
