About the Role

Alpha FMC is the leading global consultancy to the asset management, wealth management and insurance industries. The Insurance team works with industry leading insurers and brokers to position their businesses for future success and are supporting our clients on some of the industry’s most ground-breaking and exciting engagements. Consultants help to deliver end-to-end transformation, from strategy through to implementation, spanning underwriting, claims, digital engineering and AI & data.

Responsibilities

Complete a structured developmental training programme covering consulting skills, tools, and soft skills, alongside social events to get to know the Alpha team
Join a project team supporting delivery for our insurance clients, helping solve their biggest challenges
Support Business Management areas, gaining insight into how a consulting business runs day to day
Attend client meetings, document requirements, and prepare client proposals and presentations in PowerPoint
Build financial models and get stuck into creative problem solving with Alpha colleagues

Requirements

Penultimate or final year undergraduate students who are able to take part in an 8-week internship from Monday 5th July to Friday 27th August
Have the right to work in the UK
Have a genuine interest in consulting in the Insurance industries
Be highly ambitious, proactive and entrepreneurial, with a ‘can do’ attitude
Have strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mindset
Willingness to be part of a team which enjoys working hard and socialising together
An interest in assisting with one or more areas of business management
