About the Role
We are seeking motivated individuals passionate about teaching and learning to join our Science department. This role involves teaching learners aged 16+ across various qualifications and supporting the development of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Teaching learners of all ages 16+ on BTEC, T/level, and Access programmes.
- Acting as a personal tutor, monitoring attendance, and liaising with parents/guardians and other agencies.
- Undertaking course leadership responsibilities, including course management for the science department.
- Supporting and helping the team develop and grow.
- Utilizing excellent organizational, classroom management, and time management skills.
Requirements
- Knowledge and skills in chemistry and biology.
- Experience teaching within the FE and HE sector.
- Ability to teach learners of all ages 16+ on various qualifications such as BTEC, T/level, and Access programmes.
