About the Role

Support the orchestration and optimization of people, processes, and practices to foster a creative environment for a dynamic design practice. This role requires initiative and program management skills to develop best practices for the UX team, focusing on collaboration and efficiency. The candidate will establish the operational foundation, strategy, and direction to ensure UX teams thrive and deliver great work aligned with strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate internal meetings.
  • Coordinate with head of design ops on scheduling, HR, team health, and budget.
  • Identify pain points in internal processes and support solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Prioritize tasks amidst deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Help the team grow and develop new skills.
  • Increase trust, transparency, and engagement.
  • Build trust and engage cross-functional partners in UX, Product, Tech & Business stakeholders.
  • Set the stage for the team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Be curious, ask questions, and connect the dots.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Project Management/Operations role.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed, global or multi-national organizations.
  • Proactively identify issues that may impair the team from meeting strategic, business, or financial goals.
  • Strong data-driven visual, verbal, and written story-telling skills.
  • Track record in using a strategic approach to solve complicated problems.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Adept at utilizing data to articulate rationale.
  • Clear communicator.
  • Explain recommendations with confidence and openness.
  • Maintain both drive and patience.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of the financial services industry, security markets, and regulations a plus.

Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred
