About the Role
The Country Club of Rochester is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to fill the Dishwasher Position. This is a great opportunity to join a devoted team that takes pride in providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained, and organized at all times, following all sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
- Operate dish machine.
- Assist the Cooks and Servers as and when necessary.
- Proactively collect and remove trash from all areas of the operation.
- Ensure waste bin and loading dock area are kept clean and tidy.
- Carry out general cleaning as directed, including sweeping and mopping.
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other equipment.
- Clean and sanitize dishes and related ServiceWare following established procedures.
- Clean large equipment as assigned, following established procedures.
- Consistently adhere to SDS information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Wash, wipe, sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher.
- Wash, wipe, sort, stack, and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
- Clean, sanitize, and close workstations.
- Use and maintain all equipment according to manufacturer and department guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or hazard issues to management.
- Assist in light food preparation as directed by manager, such as washing and peeling vegetables.
- Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Able to stand/walk for 8 hours.
- Able to bend, push, and pull.
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
