Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic summaries of chemically dependent patients.
- Compile patient-centered, comprehensive treatment plans meeting regulatory timeframes.
- Document patient progress towards treatment goals within OASAS regulatory standards.
- Conduct education and therapeutic treatment protocols focused on patient needs and OASAS regulations.
- Provide case management services for patients with all collateral agencies.
- Provide necessary reports to TASC, Drug Court, Parole, DCMH, DSS, CPS.
- Assess and manage patient risk.
- Complete discharge summaries within OASAS timeframes with appropriate aftercare.
Requirements
- One year of prior clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
- Experience with adolescents doing individual, group and family work in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
- Experience with treating high-risk patients, managing crises, and possessing strong diagnostic skills is preferred.
