About the Role

This role is for a versatile Graphic Designer with strong video and motion skills to join the Creative Team. You will create performance marketing materials, focusing on video and static ads, and other design projects to drive customer acquisition and support the brand. A core part of this role involves using AI-powered design tools alongside traditional programs.

Responsibilities

  • Create still, video and animated ads, ranging from simple static graphics and gifs to :15 to :60 branded videos, across a mix of channels including Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, and other paid and organic platforms.
  • Design digital assets including web and social banners, PDP imagery, emails, and landing pages.
  • Contribute creative, edgy, and bold concepts for marketing and branding projects with a keen eye for simple, strong design.
  • Understand, articulate, and apply the latest platform, industry, and creative trends and digital best practices.
  • Interpret and apply design direction, upholding consistency of the brand across every touchpoint.
  • Use AI-powered design tools alongside traditional design programs as a regular part of your workflow.
  • Present design thinking and work to internal clients and team members with engaging presentation skills.
  • Foster positive, collaborative relationships across the team's internal clients: social, acquisition, retention, and PR.

Requirements

  • A strong designer with a solid grasp of color, typography, and design systems.
  • Customer-minded: you naturally consider the audience's perspective and design toward the best possible experience for them.
  • A vocal advocate for design and brand thinking within the broader marketing team.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment with shifting priorities.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with clean, consistent file management and the discipline to manage your own workflow.
  • Proactive and deadline-driven, able to take a concept from brief to finished asset independently.
  • A clear communicator who can explain and defend design decisions to marketers and non-designers alike.
  • 3+ years of professional in-house design experience.
  • A portfolio spanning web, email, social, branding, and motion or video work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products, Figma, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Working knowledge of video editing and animation (Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects, or comparable tools).
  • Willingness and ability to use AI-powered design tools, such as Cuttable, as a core part of your day-to-day workflow.
  • Strong grounding in digital media and email design principles, with curiosity about emerging technology.
  • Comfort with, or eagerness to learn, other AI-powered creative tools (for example ChatGPT or Claude).
  • Flexibility to move between channels: video production one day, brand brainstorming the next.
  • Beauty or fashion experience.
