About the Role
NEXTON is seeking a Design System Designer to manage, evolve, and promote a Design System for one of their clients. This role involves collaborating with development, UX/UI design, and project management teams to ensure design consistency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's Design System, ensuring its evolution and uniformity.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop reusable components and design guidelines.
- Train and educate team members on Design System best practices and promote its adoption.
- Deliver essential Design System elements, including major updates, components, patterns, and tokens, aligned with the roadmap.
- Develop detailed documentation for Design System evolution and disseminate guidelines to promote adoption.
- Ensure design quality and consistency across all platforms and products.
- Manage continuous updates and improvements to the Design System based on needs and constraints.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, with significant experience in creating or managing complex Design Systems.
- Proficiency in Figma (Auto-layout, Variables, professional Libraries).
- Strong understanding of Design Tokens.
- Familiarity with technical constraints (HTML/CSS, React...).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Ability to document choices rigorously.
- Strong communication skills with developers and Product Designers.
