About the Role
We are looking for you to strengthen our team as a lecturer for IT system integration (m/f/d), accompanying our retraining participants on their path to a successful IHK degree and their entry into the IT industry.
Responsibilities
- You will teach our retraining participants the fundamentals and important content of IT system integration and prepare them for their IHK degree.
- You will explain topics related to IT systems, networks, operating systems, hardware, IT security, and administration in a practical way.
- You will support our participants with technical questions and help them apply knowledge practically and solve problems independently.
- You will lead calls and lessons, ensuring a pleasant and motivating learning atmosphere.
- You will also guide participants in completing tasks and projects, providing regular feedback.
- You will help us continuously improve our course content and adapt it to the requirements of professional practice.
- You will use Zoom, Slack, Discord, and other digital tools for communication with our team and participants.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed training or retraining as an IT system integration specialist (m/f/d).
- You have sound practical knowledge in system integration and IT administration.
- You are familiar with the fundamental topics of networks, operating systems, hardware, and IT infrastructure.
- You have basic programming knowledge and can clearly explain fundamental programming concepts to our participants.
- Ideally, you have prior experience in teaching, as a lecturer, trainer, instructor, mentor, or in a similar role.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and explaining complex technical topics understandably.
- You are open to learning new topics and continuously developing your knowledge.
- You take responsibility, organize your tasks independently, and are comfortable leading calls and lessons.
- You have very good German language skills, ideally at C1 level or higher.
- Ideally, you live in Mannheim or Berlin and are interested in working with participants on-site sometimes.
