About the Role
This role supports the end-to-end operational delivery of stores and retail projects, from launch through to successful day-to-day operation. You will be at the centre of making things happen, supporting new store openings, solving operational challenges, coordinating multiple teams, and ensuring stores perform at their best.
Responsibilities
- Support new store openings and retail projects from planning through to post-opening
- Ensure stores are operationally ready across people, stock, logistics, systems, compliance and Health & Safety
- Monitor operational performance and maintain consistent standards across stores
- Identify operational issues, take ownership and drive them through to resolution
- Coordinate activity across People, Stock & Supply, Build, Creative and Field Operations
- Manage relationships with operational suppliers and partners
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
- Provide clear communication between stores, central teams and account teams
- Anticipate operational risks and proactively support solutions
Requirements
- Experienced in retail operations, ideally across multiple stores, locations or retail projects
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- A confident problem solver who takes ownership rather than simply escalating issues
- Comfortable working at pace within a fast-moving retail environment
- Experienced coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve operational outcomes
- A strong communicator who can build effective relationships with store teams, central functions, clients and suppliers
- Commercially aware with an understanding of how strong operational execution supports store performance
- Comfortable working with operational standards, compliance frameworks and Health & Safety requirements
- Proactive, curious and constantly looking for opportunities to improve how things are done
- Enjoys getting involved, taking accountability and following things through to completion
