About the Role
GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer ready to patrol environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers. The ideal candidate can read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly, demonstrating a keen sense of observation.
Responsibilities
- Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Possess a state security license (BSIS Guard Card)
- Possess additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (can be obtained during hiring process)
