About the Role
We are looking for a Vendor Manager to lead governance, performance management, and financial tracking of our vendors. This role is critical for ensuring the operational integrity and financial performance of our key vendors, guaranteeing contractual SLAs and KPIs are met, and realizing intended financial and operational benefits from network vendor agreements.
Responsibilities
- Lead regular performance reviews to ensure vendors meet contractual SLAs and KPIs, and progress on projects and action items.
- Track vendor performance using existing dashboards and indicators, identifying areas for improvement and mitigating risks.
- Manage end-to-end contract execution, ensuring vendor outcomes align with contract expectations and resolving identified gaps and issues.
- Manage and track monthly, quarterly, and yearly OPEX and CAPEX spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities and business value creation.
- Act as the liaison between vendors and internal teams (Procurement, Finance, Network) to resolve issues and drive innovation.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to vendor performance, financials, and contractual items.
- Ensure vendor outcomes align with the long-term technology strategy across the Network organization and with vendors.
Requirements
- 3+ years in vendor management, contract management, network, business, finance, accounting, or similar background.
- Experience in performance governance, including interpreting and analyzing contractual SLAs or KPIs, working with financial data, and managing vendor performance.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Relationship-building attitude.
- Highly analytical with the ability to problem-solve and provide recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage intricate details of contracts, KPIs, and financial data.
- Proactive in seeking information and continuous learning.
- Ability to pivot quickly, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with the ability to offer help while balancing and prioritizing own tasks.
