About the Role
We are looking for a Portfolio Analytics & Automation Specialist - CIG to support our Leveraged Loan and High-Yield investment team by providing day-to-day portfolio monitoring and analysis, enhancing analytics on exposures, risk, and performance, and designing/building data tools and reports. The role involves automating reporting workflows and contributing to ad hoc analytical projects.
Responsibilities
- Support portfolio managers with day-to-day portfolio monitoring and analysis across leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and CLO portfolios.
- Own and enhance analytics on portfolio exposures, risk positioning, and performance attribution.
- Design, build, and maintain data tools, dashboards, and reports used by the portfolio management team.
- Automate recurring portfolio and risk reporting workflows to help the team scale beyond manual processes.
- Contribute to ad hoc analytical projects as markets, strategies, and portfolio needs evolve.
Requirements
- Ideally 3 years of experience in asset management, leveraged finance, structured credit, investment banking, or a related front office analytical role.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Python strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of tools such as numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, streamlit, powerbi, or qlik would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment-driven environment.
- Comfort working directly with senior investment professionals.
- Curiosity to explore how AI can improve workflow building, delivery, and optimization.
- Sound judgment for validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
