About the Role
Ramapo Dental Care is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist in Suffern, New York to provide exceptional patient care in a team-based environment. The role focuses on routine cleanings, assessments, and patient education, prioritizing comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health assessments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care.
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
- Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.
