About the Role

Lead the development of software product and integrated solutions, creating solution architecture and design in collaboration with Digital Technology platform and architects. Oversee the overall design and development of the platform, aligning to best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team to develop, modify, configure and integrate solutions to meet business requirements and engineering specifications
  • Collaborate with the business PO to plan product work, prioritizing tech debt and other technical vitalization items
  • Deliver solution architecture artifacts that define non-functional requirements and implementations as well as end-to-end system and business impacts
  • Remain hands-on with development activities including Apex, LWC, integrations, troubleshooting, proof-of-concepts, and code reviews
  • Maintain and enforce technology best practices, policies and procedures regarding coding standards, versioning, quality and configuration
  • Drive product improvements that will accelerate delivery, increase quality, and reduce maintenance
  • Collaborate closely with multiple teams to deliver solutions
  • Build strong and trusted relationships with internal and external partners
  • Focus on continuous learning and professional development
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members
  • Drive an agile mindset within the product stack that measures progress over perfection
  • Hold yourself and your team accountable to contribute to the overall digital modernization of the organization
  • Ensure solutions are enhanced, secured, and upgraded to evolve the roadmap

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in business or computer science or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience delivering software, integration or platform engineering solutions following a SDLC
  • Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce development including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Platform Events, Integration Patterns, REST APIs, and enterprise-scale solution design.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales, Marketing and Service Clouds
  • Knowledge of Salesforce AI capabilities (Agentforce, Einstein, Prompt Builder) and AI governance is an asset
  • Salesforce integrations and an understanding of API’s is an asset
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II and/or Salesforce Architect certifications is an asset
  • Agile delivery experience is an asset
  • Proficiency with software development techniques such as Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development and Automated Testing
  • Be a technical thought leader, overseeing development and quality standards, including code reviews, code management, documentation, testing and product/platform-based monitoring and alerting
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships
  • Able to pivot and quickly change direction in response to changing priorities
  • Experience coaching and mentoring software developers on requirements analysis, design patterns and development best practices
  • Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, complex concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and GIT is an asset
  • Experience working in financial services industry is an asset
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance required

  • $113,500.00 - $163,500.00 annually
