About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans for assigned accounts to increase penetration, customer service, margin, and sales.
- Promote NCE’s and key vendor’s products through proactive marketing, training, and joint sales calls.
- Promote NCE services and divisions to the customer base.
- Champion ABB and other control offerings.
- Collaborate with the industrial sales manager to identify, bid, and secure opportunities.
- Retain and enhance relationships with strategic customers, key players, and reps.
- Communicate, mentor, and work with inside support staff to optimize customer service and maximize account penetration and sales.
- Develop new accounts and support existing accounts in the Puget Sound Market.
- Manage and grow market share of existing, assigned, and new accounts.
- Manage customer pricing and vendor contracts.
- Generate quotations and provide tracking and market intelligence for project-related business.
- Actively promote NCE market-specific endeavors.
- Utilize NCE resources and Specialists (solar, SSG, energy specialists, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of outside sales or business development experience.
- Good computer skills, with preferred experience in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proof of a clean driving record with no major infractions in the previous 3-5 years.
- Self-motivated, outgoing, positive attitude, good communicator, team player, and professional appearance.
- Ability to turn obstacles into opportunities.
- Solid time management skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Successful completion of all applicable pre-employment requirements, including background check, drug screening, credit check, and motor vehicle record review, as permitted by law and required for the position.
