About the Role
Optimizely is seeking an Associate Business Systems Analyst to join the Enterprise Applications team. This role focuses on delivering and optimizing the Salesforce Revenue Cloud platform and the broader Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. It's a hands-on position for someone passionate about translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and building expertise in a strategically important area of the technology stack. You will collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams to support end-to-end business processes including quoting, contracting, billing, and revenue recognition, contributing to both daily operations and the Quote-to-Revenue program.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and translate business requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify risks, dependencies, and improvements.
- Facilitate requirements workshops with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain documentation including functional specifications and process flows.
- Support configuration, testing, and delivery of Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions.
- Analyze and document the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process.
- Collaborate with developers and partners to ensure solutions meet specifications.
- Support integration testing between Salesforce and downstream systems.
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute functional and regression testing.
- Participate in UAT sessions, log defects, and track resolution.
- Identify and document defects with clear reproduction steps and business impact.
- Build relationships with business stakeholders, developers, and partners.
- Communicate requirements, progress, and risks proactively.
- Provide day-to-day Salesforce support to business users.
- Contribute to status reporting and sprint ceremonies.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role within a technology or SaaS organization.
- Hands-on exposure to Salesforce Revenue Cloud (RCA and/or RCB) configuration and testing.
- Working knowledge of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with Jira or a similar project management and defect tracking tool.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
