About the Role
As a Store Manager, you will coach and develop your store team to deliver world-class service to customers and help Pet Parents find the right nutrition and solutions for their pets. You will be part of a team of passionate Pet Experts and enjoy the perks of helping Pet Parents every day. This position is ideal for those enthusiastic about learning and growing with one of the top pet retailers in North America.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all customer service standards are met by staff.
- Maintain courteous relationships within the community (e.g., Humane Society).
- Manage a team of employees, including recruiting, scheduling, training, task assignment, supervision, and coaching.
- Ensure all staff adhere to corporate operational standards and procedures.
- Coordinate order placements and maintain appropriate inventory.
- Ensure store and safety audits are completed.
- Coordinate minor store repairs.
- Complete miscellaneous corporate paperwork.
- Coordinate store staff efforts to achieve targeted business results.
- Perform other duties and tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service and retail store management experience.
- Ability to work scheduled hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to have reliable transportation to and from the store.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
