About the Role

Whitchurch Primary School & Nursery is seeking a lunchtime play co-ordinator to support and facilitate meaningful and productive child-initiated play during the school day. The role involves securing and maintaining the safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during midday breaks, ensuring children have a happy, healthy, and playful lunchtime.

Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate meaningful and productive child-initiated play during the school day in accordance with the play policy.
  • Work as part of the team in securing and maintaining the safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during the midday break periods.
  • Ensure children have a happy, healthy, and playful lunchtime.
  • Promote and safeguard the safety and welfare of children in accordance with the schools’ child protection and behaviour management policy.

Requirements

  • Must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Must share the commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Satisfactory references required.
  • Online check required.
  • Medical clearances required.
  • Evidence of essential qualifications required.
  • Proof of legal working in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 required.
  • CVs will not be accepted.

Work Type

  • Term time only
  • Fixed Term Contract for 1 year

Salary/Compensations

  • G4 13 pro rata (Actual £10,433.97)
