About the Role
Williams Bros Health Care Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead, direct, and manage daily pharmacy activities, ensuring optimal customer service, prescription verification, team management, workflow optimization, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Reviews all medication orders for appropriate and rational therapy, checking for proper dosages, potential drug interactions, and adverse reactions.
- Assures compliance with federal, state, and local drug control regulations relating to pharmaceutical acquisitions.
- Maintains DEA forms secured for review by DEA, FDA and Board of Pharmacy.
- Responds quickly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding supplies and prescriptions.
- Resolves customer concerns and complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action.
- Ensures prescriptions are filled accurately by Pharmacy Techs.
- Exercises professional judgment to mitigate potential patient problems.
- Keeps Pharmacy Manager and other relevant staff informed of any unusual concerns or conditions relative to staff, patients, families, and physicians.
