About the Role
As a Patient Registration Representative in our Level II Trauma Center, you will be the first point of contact for patients in their moment of greatest need, providing a compassionate start to life-saving care.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly register patients, verify insurance, and answer urgent questions with empathy.
- Use Cadence to manage high-volume patient arrivals and ensure clinical teams have accurate data.
- Handle cash posting, scanning, and demographic verification in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Accurate typing (40–60 wpm) and data entry (5000 kph).
- Ability to thrive under pressure, stay organized during chaos, and demonstrate care for people.
